* A Heartland Village homeowner and two other men were arrested early Thursday after a glass-shattering battle, law-enforcement sources said.
Sources said Carlos Guzman, 25, and Carlos Rivera, both drunk, threw empty beer bottles at the house of Carlos Hernandez, 21, at 453 Klondike Ave., at 5 a.m. Thursday.
When a bottle crashed through a window, Hernandez went outside with a baseball bat and confronted the pair, sources said.
Guzman and Rivera fled, and Hernandez called the cops, who found the pair a short while later on nearby Bridgetown Street.
Officers who inspected the suspects' car said they couldn't help but notice the 11 empty beer bottles and the strong smell of alcohol.
All three Carloses were arrested on a charge of criminal mischief, with Guzman additionally charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, according to a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.
